Highlights of the Council on Library Resources' (CLR) 28th year and descriptions of active projects are included in the body of this report. Preliminary materials include lists of members of the council and of the board of directors, council committees and officers, and council staff and consultants, as well as a memorial to Louis Booker Wright, vice chairman to the CLR throughout its first 27 years of existence. A review of the primary areas of activity during 1983-1984 comprises sections on: library resources, preservation, and access; bibliographic services; management; professional education and training; and special programs. Additional materials include lists of program committees, task forces, and project participants; publications resulting from CLR-supported programs and fellowships; grants and contracts active in fiscal 1984; opinion of independent accountants and financial statements; and program guidelines and grant application procedures.
